After You Place An Order
Order Confirmation
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically check at the warehouse to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment. If your product is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and contact you via e-mail with other options.
Order ShipmentWe ship only in the lower 48 states of the United States and cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. Boxes or military APO/FPO addresses at this time.
Products usually ship out within 1-3 business days via UPS and Fedex, or within 3-5 business days via Freight Delivery, depending on size of the item and manufacturer. Review shipping details on the product page for manufacturer-specific lead times. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided during checkout. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us using the website chat widget or by email at info@bedroomdepotusa.com.
Freight Shipping
Freight delivery is typically 5-10 business days (Monday through Friday). Allow extra time for delivery to remote addresses. Free freight shipping is available to most physical addresses in the US. (Sorry, we do not ship to P.O. Boxes.)
Our free shipping is typically Threshold Delivery, which means the driver will bring the package to the first dry area (i.e. Garage/Covered Porch, not inside the home). Other delivery service levels available include Room of Choice or White Glove (Option 1: Room of Choice + Package Removal -or- Option 2: Room of Choice + Package Removal + Light Assembly, up to 30 mins). Let us know in your order notes or via email within 24 hours of purchase to arrange for any upgraded delivery requests. You will be billed separately for any upgrades.
The freight carrier will contact you to schedule final mile delivery to your home. Someone will have to be on hand to meet the driver and sign for the package. Please double check the phone number is correct. If they cannot reach you, or cannot arrange delivery, the item will have to be shipped back to us. If this happens, you will be responsible for return shipping fees and this amount will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Some items may be very large and heavy, so be sure to arrange for help in advance, if needed. Please keep the product packaging. You'll need it if you have to return your item.
Requests to hold items prior to shipping are allowed. However, once the item is shipped, requesting for delayed shipping is prohibited and will result in the item being shipped back to us. You will be responsible for return shipping fees and this amount will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Taxes on Shipping
We do not charge taxes on shipping.
Taxes on Product Sales
We do not charge taxes on product sales, as we are sales tax-free for US States.
Backorders
Bedroom Depot USA is dedicated to ensuring that the thousands of products we store in our warehouse are in stock and ready-to-ship. However, sometimes demand outpaces supply and we fall short. Backordered items are still available for purchase online and will ship as soon as they become available. If an item is backordered, we try to be as clear and accurate as we can on the item´s product page. Please be aware that delivery dates on backordered items are approximate and subject to change.
There are times when a shipment of backordered products is unexpectedly delayed from our vendors and your promised delivery date may change. If this happens, we will send you an email indicating which item has been delayed and its new estimated shipping date. If the new shipping date is unacceptable to you, you can contact our Customer Service team at info@bedroomdepotusa.com or 844-423-3768. You will have the option of waiting for the backordered item, splitting the shipment and having all the in-stock items sent immediately, choosing a replacement item or canceling the backordered item all together.
Custom Made Products and Products Made-to-Order
We will not be allowed to return or cancel these orders because they are made specifically for your unique situation and/or customized for your own unique needs. As you probably are aware additional labor, time, and materials are required to make sure these products are made especially for you. Warranties will vary by manufacturer.
Damages
Always inspect packages before signing off on a delivery in case of damaged items.
If you notice significant damages (especially signs of forklift damage), refuse delivery and contact us immediately, within 24 hours. If there are some minor damages, make note of this on the delivery slip before signing for delivery.
If you do not note damages on the delivery receipt or contact us within 24 hours after delivery, you are accepting the product condition as is and are not eligible for a return/refund/exchange. We cannot guarantee the manufacturer will cover any replacement parts for you if you do not contact us within 24 hours.
If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send 3-5 photos including multiple angles of the damaged area to info@bedroomdepotusa.com and we will help with filing and processing a claim on your behalf.
If the incorrect product arrives, or if the product you ordered is defective or damaged by the carrier, Bedroom Depot USA will cover the return shipping costs to ensure you get a replacement.
Refunds and Cancellations
If you're not satisfied with an item that you purchased you can initiate a return within 30 days after delivery for a refund as long as the item is in its original condition and packaging. Items that have been used or modified in any way may not be returned, unless otherwise noted on the product page. Orders returned, for any reason other than a defective item (upon receiving), are subject to a restocking fee that is equal to 25% of the price of your order. You (the buyer) are responsible for any return freight (shipping) costs for BOTH directions (from the warehouse to you, and back to the warehouse). The purchase price minus these fees and costs will then be refunded to you when the warehouse processes your item (product must be returned within 30 days, new, unused, and in original packaging). Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.
Order cancellations later than 12 hours after purchase are subject to a 18% cancellation administration fee.
Please make sure to measure the necessary space requirements before purchasing.
After 30 days, we will help administer a return only if the item is damaged and still under manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer's warranties vary from 1-3 years depending on the company.
