Certified Clean & Prepared™

Extra confidence when choosing a Like-New mattress

Buying a mattress from an outlet shouldn’t mean wondering what you’re bringing home. Every Like-New mattress we offer must complete our Certified Clean & Prepared™ process before it is approved for resale.

Each mattress is:

  • Inspected for condition and structural integrity
  • Screened for stains, odors and signs of pests
  • Professionally cleaned and sanitized
  • Prepared and protected for its next home

If a mattress doesn’t meet our outlet standards, we don’t offer it for sale.

Certified Clean & Prepared™ applies specifically to our Like-New mattresses.

Quick Answers & Outlet Policies

General

What does New and Like-New mean?

New items have not been previously used. They may include overstock, clearance or open-box merchandise.

Like New items may include customer returns or previously owned merchandise that has been inspected and approved for resale. Any known cosmetic imperfections or important condition details are included in the product listing.

Are outlet purchases returnable?

Outlet purchases are Final Sale unless the product listing explicitly states otherwise. If Bedroom Depot cannot fulfill your order, you will receive a full refund.

Please review the product description, measurements, condition and available options before completing checkout.

How do pickup and local delivery work?

Chicago pickup and available local delivery options are shown at checkout. Pricing and availability can vary based on the product, delivery location and services selected.

After checkout, you’ll receive an email confirmation with your order details and the next steps for pickup or delivery scheduling.

What is Certified Clean & Prepared™?

Certified Clean & Prepared™ is our inspection, cleaning, sanitation and preparation process for Like New mattresses.

Each eligible mattress is evaluated for condition and structural integrity, screened for stains, odors and signs of pests, professionally cleaned and sanitized, and approved before being offered for resale.

Which products can be shipped nationwide?

Only products identified as Ready to Ship are available for national shipping. Our local outlet inventory is reserved for Chicago pickup or eligible local delivery unless the product page states otherwise.

Ready-to-ship mattresses are professionally recompressed, securely packaged and include ground shipping within the contiguous United States.

Is assembly available?

Assembly may be available for select furniture products. When offered, available assembly options and pricing will be shown during checkout or stated in the product listing.

Assembly is not included unless the order or product page specifically says that it is included.
